When one is chronicling an epic of this scale, the cast of characters is not small; there are many present in the first of the series and more shall likely emerge as the Pentad progresses. For what might be called simplicity, the players currently active shall be divided by their 'alignment'; Light, Dark, and Neutral. While these terms are excellent for classification purposes, they are not really adequate in terms of accuracy.
